Drupal wins best overall open source CMS award

Drupal has won the Packt Publishing annual Open Source Content Management System (CMS) Award in the ‘Overall” category for the second year in a row. Second place was awarded to Joomla and in third place was DotNetNuke. Drupal also won the award for the Best PHP content management system. Drupal usage has increased considerably since its release with over 2 million downloads and an estimated 250,000 Drupal website operating worldwide. The Drupal community is constantly growing and currently has over 350,000 registered members at the official Drupal.org website.
