Bill Gates Retires From Microsoft

Bill Gates, 52, has retired from his desk job at Microsoft but will remain as a chairman of the board and advisor for the computer giant corporation. From such a humble beginning, running a small business out of a garage, to a multi billion dollar industry leader, Gates has been one of the most influential people in Information Technology.
 
Turning his attention to more philanthropic activities, Gates will be spending the majority of his week at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, a foundation with a focus on global health, poverty and education.
